KATHRIN, STYLIST & JOURNALIST AND ALSO HOPEHOPE-CONTRIBUTOR WAS AT THE EVIAN LAUNCH IN LONDON FOR HOPEHOPE – HERE HER TRAVELOGUE:

“That’s Paul Smith and a little bit of me. But let me start from the very beginning…

It’s Fashion Week in London right now. Therefore I wasn’t surprised to see a

lot of well or strange (in a positive way) dressed people.

I was invited by Evian, the water brand. The lovely Rolf Nungesser and

Mirjam Schobert from Real Time Society make the press work for Evian in

Switzerland and I could attend them on their trip.

Every year Evian has a special collaboration with a designer resulting in

fancy designed water bottles. This year it was Paul Smith’s turn. And what a

surprise, the often called Stripes-Paul-Smith designed a bottle with

stripes. He is such a funny and self-depreciating person.  When a journalist

asked him about his inspiration, he said: „ Ohhh, I just put some strips on

the top of the bottle.“

Evian arranged a press conference and a “lunatic” party on the 29th floor of

a business building in central london. And as you can imagine the Paul Smith

Team did a great job with the setdesign for the party with a lot of funny

little toys and stuff.

The party was great and one thing is for sure: When it comes to fashion,

London is completely different to Zurich. It was very inspiring to see how

the Londoners dressed up, especially the men. There are no blockings, which

results in a very special, yet classy style. I liked it a lot… here are

some impressions.”
